WRITER/DIRECTOR Daniel Ziegler is a two-time Emmy Award winning writer and director of films, videos and commercials. As a creative director, he creates brand campaigns, broadcast and print advertising, documentaries, and corporate communications. As Creative Director of PBS Hawaii in Honolulu, Daniel created dozens of shows and series. He was a commercial director for Pacific Focus, and then partner in the advertising/design firm Vermeer Design for 10 years. Before moving to Hawaii, Daniel owned Pure Light Productions in New York City, a film and video production company. He is the recipient of numerous film and broadcasting awards including the two Emmys, Cine Eagles, the IRIS Award, and awards from the Chicago, Houston, New York, and Hawaii International Film Festivals. Daniel holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in Directing from New York University.
